As a therapist, I am passionate in working with issues that are unique to women while also holding space for the variety of experiences that one can have in life. With a specialized focus on neurodivergent women counseling, ADHD therapy for women, and anxiety therapy for women, my goal is to support you in finding balance and clarity in a fast-paced world.
Research over the past fifty years has demonstrated that one factor—more than any other—is associated with successful therapy treatment: the quality of the relationship between the therapist and the patient. I strongly believe that developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is a vital part of treatment, and it is therefore essential that you find a therapist with whom you connect. I strive to create that safe and authentic environment for you to feel heard and your feelings validated.
I begin the therapy process with a brief phone consultation, followed by an hour-long first visit in which we explore your current therapy needs and work together to develop a personalized treatment plan. This initial contact allows both of us to determine if I am the most appropriate fit for your current therapy needs. Should we both decide to continue our work together, we will develop a plan to reach your goals collaboratively.
I utilize a variety of therapy modalities to support clients though do not believe that “one approach fits all”. I meet you where you are at and utilize my training and experience to support your personal growth.
I am Level 2 IFS (Internal Family Systems) trained and Level 3 trained in Brainspotting. Additionally, I draw from my training and experience in Mindfulness. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with she/her pronouns, holding active licenses in Kansas, Missouri, New York, and Massachusetts, and can provide Telehealth sessions for clients residing in any of these states.
