No matter where you have been, your story matters. Your story is the basis of our work and while we can’t rewrite it, we can turn the page so you can write your future.
I am passionate in working with women’s issues. Often, the women I work with express how at different times in their lives they have struggled to manage all the different roles in their day to day life. Women often feel the weight of the world on their shoulders and receive messages from our inner circles and society as a whole that dictate how we should feel and act. Women also can have a lot of struggles when it comes to starting a family and managing the stressors of being a mom. It can feel very isolating if you are struggling and don’t know where or who to turn to.
In our sessions, I strive to ensure you feel heard and your feelings validated.
I like to begin the therapy process with a brief phone consultation, followed by an hour long first visit in which I carefully consider your reasons for seeking therapy and work with you to develop a personalized and treatment plan. I strongly believe that developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is a vital part of treatment, and it is therefore essential that you find a therapist with whom you connect.
I use a mix of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting and IFS informed. I believe that each client is unique and I tailor each session to the individual needs presented.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in KS, MO & NY. I am able to provide Telehealth sessions for clients who reside in any of these states.
